SeeSaw Networks Appoints Yahoo! Veteran to Executive Staff
Out-of-Home Digital Media Company Prepares for Prime Time
with Increased Focus on Supporting Advertisers and Media Buyers
SAN FRANCISCO – Jan. 10, 2007 – SeeSaw Networks, a leading out-of-home digital media company, today announces that Yahoo!’s (Nasdaq: YHOO) former director of global strategic partnerships, Cameron Burnham, joins SeeSaw as its vice president of sales and SeeSaw co-founder, Scott Hines, expands his role from vice president of user experience to vice president of marketing and customer experience.
Seesaw Networks is the only out-of-home digital media company that makes it easy to plan, buy and measure advertising on the world’s most extensive network of digital venues. Unlike static billboards and posters, digital media can present constantly changing, full-motion video, imagery, text and animation, engaging people on the go.
“Scott and Cameron are spearheading SeeSaw Networks’ customer-centric go-to-market strategy with the goal of delighting national advertisers and media agencies. Their roles focus on enabling media agencies to easily capitalize on the explosive growth of out-of-home digital media,” said Peter Bowen, chief executive officer of SeeSaw Networks.
Burnham, who has spent the last 15 years driving revenue growth for media companies, experienced the early expansion of Internet advertising and sees a similar growth opportunity for SeeSaw to drive the digital out-of-home market. “Few companies exhibit the level of innovation and deliver the market-changing opportunity that SeeSaw provides advertisers and media agencies,” said Burnham.
Burnham, an award-winning sales executive was most recently responsible for new strategic relationships with Yahoo!’s leading marketing partners in the financial services, retail, and technology sectors. Focused on delivering innovative marketing partnerships, Burnham quadrupled his category direct sales revenue over the last three years. Burnham has also held senior sales positions at CMP Media where he led sales for the Business Technology Group and at MicroWarehouse, where he drove revenue growth for its International Advertising Group.
Hines is an early innovator in Web marketing techniques and systems. Prior to co-founding SeeSaw, Hines was at Model N, where he was responsible for the user experience strategic vision and implementation for its revenue management applications. Prior to Model N, he was director of user experience and chief user interface architect at Blue Martini Software and was creative director and user interface architect at Oracle Corp. “Throughout his career, Scott’s passion for the customer experience and his pioneering use of Web technologies has resulted in the development and deployment of world-class marketing applications for brands such as Bloomingdales, Harrah’s Entertainment, Kohl’s, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue,” adds Monte Zweben, chairman of SeeSaw Networks.
