SeeSaw Networks Adds Text Messaging to Out-of-Home Digital Advertising

Advertisers can now add measurable call-to-action on a cost per action basis

ad:tech, SAN FRANCISCO, April 25, 2007 – SeeSaw Networks, the leading out-of-home digital media company, announced support for advertisers and media buyers to integrate text messaging into their out-of-home digital media campaigns, making the medium more interactive. By providing people with a call to action using text messaging, advertisers can conduct turnkey promotions, contests and giveaways, as well as offer coupons and collect vital consumer data directly from their out-of-home digital ads.

Text messaging is on the rise in the US. According to M:Metrics, 39.2 percent of cell phone users in the United States use text messaging and the number is growing. The way it works
While planning an out-of-home digital media campaign with SeeSawAds.com, media planners and buyers will be able to select direct response options by specifying keywords to text to a short code as part of their campaign. By combining a call to action in advertising creative that references these inputs, media buyers can track the results of their campaign as people respond in real-time. The ability to plan a campaign with integrated direct response text messaging and closed-loop campaign reporting will be available this summer.
