SeeSaw Networks Enables Life Pattern Marketing to Mobile Millennials

Four new networks expand SeeSaw’s reach to 30 million weekly impressions at more than 16,000 digital signage venues

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 18, 2007 - SeeSaw Networks, an out-of-home digital media company, now enables Life Pattern Marketing to Mobile Millennials by reaching them in places they work, play and socialize including health clubs, college campuses, sports bars, retail stores, video rental stores, supermarkets and ATM machines. Today, SeeSaw announced four new partnerships with digital signage companies – Netpulse, Agency225, CSpot Networks and BRANDitTV – that have screens in locations frequented by Mobile Millennials, also known as Generation Y. SeeSaw’s network enables advertisers to reach this coveted audience at various times and locations throughout the day. The new additions increase SeeSaw’s weekly impressions to more than 30 million – putting SeeSaw’s advertising reach on par with an episode of American Idol.

Life Pattern Marketing is the practice of mapping the daily pattern of an audience’s typical life and weaving an advertising program through that pattern. For example, a Mobile Millennial leads an active life pattern including regular visits to health clubs, bars, restaurants and college campuses. Composed of approximately 76 million people born between 1978 and 2000, Mobile Millennials are the first generation to grow up in a digital world and have media habits that make it more difficult for advertisers to reach through traditional media. Through SeeSaw, advertisers use Life Pattern Marketing to reach Mobile Millennials in locations where they are receptive to relevant advertisements.

Through its growing affiliate partner relationships, SeeSaw makes it easy for advertisers to deliver Life Pattern Marketing campaigns that create the perception of brand ubiquity by reaching people during their work, play, and social routines. “It is getting harder for businesses to reach highly mobile people with a brand message using traditional media,” said Monte Zweben, co-founder and chairman of SeeSaw. “Life Pattern Marketing with digital out-of-home media allows advertisers to reach people by weaving a brand message into their everyday lives.”

“Through SeeSaw Networks, advertisers can reach people in multiple place-based environments like never before,” said Bryan Arp, president of Netpulse. “With a simple turn-key approach, advertisers have unparalleled access to Netpulse’s young health club audience through its Internet-TV touch-screens that get beyond Tivos and pop-up blockers.”

With Netpulse installations in eight of the top 10 fitness facility chains – including Crunch, YMCA and Gold’s Gym – advertisers reach this captive audience with a mix of entertaining and educational content and advertisements. Other networks that reach Mobile Millennials are BRANDitTV, which brings sports highlights to local sports bars and restaurants; Agency225, which manages content on screens at Movie Gallery and Hollywood Video stores; and CSpot Networks, which places screens on top of ATMs in convenience stores and travel centers.

SeeSaw also enables Life Pattern Marketing to alpha moms, business professionals and college students and will add new Life Patterns over the next few months. Additionally, marketers can create their own Life Pattern campaigns on SeeSawAds.com by either customizing the standard Life Pattern templates or creating a Life Pattern from scratch with SeeSaw’s media planning technology.
