SeeSaw Networks, the US based media planning company has added eight new companies to its digital signage network. The company now has a total of 36 networks, offering advertisers more impressions than a spot on the top five primetime shows , including American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and NBC Sunday Night Football.
PumpTop TV Network, one of the new affiliates, increases SeeSaw’s reach in gas stations. SeeSaw has also added the Casino Channel Network, Acrosscut Media (hotels), HotSpot Network (information kiosks), LevelVision (college bookstores), Private Dental Network, TMI C-Store Network (convenience stores), and Astralis (office buildings and hotels).
AKA COMMENT
SeeSaw has established a digital out-of-home media network that now rivals the TV networks in terms of viewers. This is an important breakthrough for the industry and creates some real momentum for the media world to hook on to.
The interesting thing is that these networks all have very different viewer experiences - and likely measure their audiences in different ways. It will still take some harmonisation work from SeeSaw to be able to provide the level of compliance informaiton that the media industry will be looking for.
